Hi everyone,
I'm booked on the Mayan Encounter that meets in Playa Del Carmen on 11th August 2012. I know it's ages away but I was just hoping to meet some of my fellow travellers before the time comes - I know there are loads of you already!
Hope to chat to someone soon :)

Katie Lou 28/04/12Greetings
I am considering doing the Road to Kathmandu in June/July 2012. Is this trip affected at all by the monsoon season? I would also appreciate the comments/tips of anyone else who had done it at this time of year as to what to take in the line of clothes etc etc.
Thanks
Adrian
adrian 16/04/12I'm booked in for the Annapurna Sanctuary tour starting the 5th of May. I've been reading a lot of conflicting advice about what gear I should have!
I have the following hiking type shoes http://www.shoesonline4u.co.uk/hiking-shoes/clarks-boots-incite-mid-gtx-2096508-375226-700485.php
Should these be sufficient? I have them well worn in and would prefer not to have to buy and break in a pair of hiking boots.
