Imaginative travellers could find that Jordan Tours have everything they could hope for, according to the country's tourism board.
Research from Into the Blue recently found that some 61 per cent of respondents are planning on travelling around the world at some point in the future.
And explorers may want to add Jordan to their itineraries after Sa'ed S Zawaideh, the regional marketing coordinator for the Jordan Tourism Board, explained that the location offers "history, eco, culture, religion, adventure and city breaks, night life and shopping".
In addition, he said that visitors who want to immerse themselves in culture and the local community will find themselves welcomed by the Jordanian people.
"They do their best to make them pleased and happy," he said.
Mr Zawaideh added that those looking for a relaxing holiday may also benefit from the country's simple and uncomplicated outlook on life.
Lonely Planet advises visitors to head to Jerash, Karak and the Dead Sea.
