Travellers hoping to embark on an adventure holiday without having to break the bank may want to consider Turkey or Egypt as possible locations, following comments from travelsupermarket.com.
The price comparison service recently suggested British holidaymakers are going to rein in the amount they spend on vacations in 2010, with 46 per cent saying they will be 'savvy spenders' this year.
In addition, it found that the average Brit will allow £1,014 for their main break.
However, Bob Atkinson, travel expert from the website, explained there are a number of places people can visit that offer the value for money they are looking for, including Turkey and Egypt.
Furthermore, he named South Africa and northern Africa as other, great, affordable and non-eurozone destinations.
"If there is something that Brits love more than anything else it's the concept that they've got themselves a bargain or a deal," Mr Atkinson added.
