For a great overview of the southern islands of the Galapagos it’s hard to go past this cruising adventure. After flying to the islands, we head to the Santa Cruz Highlands to meet giant Galapagos tortoises in their natural habitat. We then head to remote Isabela – the largest and one of the youngest of the islands, covered with volcanic craters, before swinging back via Rabida, Caleta Tortuga Negra and Daphne. Along the way we encounter the myriad of wildlife that the Galapagos is famous for from sharks, turtles and sea lions to penguins, flamingos and boobies.

We also discover the charm of the Galapagos – of how these animals have no fear of humans and sometimes even interact and sort to play with us as we visit them in their own backyard.
