"There are wonderful ruins on this trip, as well as laid-back towns and truly breathtaking views in Panajachel. However, my favourite part has to be the wonderful highland market at Chichicastenango. This is a photographers dream, with hundreds of people in brightly coloured highland clothing selling just about anything you might wish to buy (and then some!). It may be touristy, but it still retains a wonderful charm."
