The best two-week trek in Nepal, pioneered by Peregrine
This spectacular adventure treks through the Annapurna foothills to the wild and remote Kopra Ridge – one of the best vantage points in the Himalaya. We stay in newly constructed lodges, a joint venture between Peregrine and the local community whose profits benefit local schools and village projects. From Lumle we ascend terraced hillsides to Upper Ghandruk, enjoying fine views of the Annapurna mountains. At Tadapani we leave the popular main trail and for the next week head through remote alpine terrain to Bayeli, before ascending to Kopra. Here we view the lofty peaks of Nilgiri, Annapurna I, Fang and Annapurna South.
Annapurna Dhaulagiri
Dhaulagiri dominates the western skyline across the deepest gorge in the world, the Kali Ghandaki. Our return route descends through open alpine pastures, oak forest and rhododendrons to Swanta. We rejoin the main trail to unwind beside Lake Phewa in lovely Pokhara.

Trip Itinerary
- Day 1(Sat) Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
- Day 2Explore Pashupatinath Temple and Bodhnath Stupa. Afternoon free.
- Day 3Fly to Pokhara, drive into foothills and commence trek.
- Day 4Trek to Upper Ghandruk through fields and villages.
- Day 5-6Trek to Tadapani. Leave main trail and head to Bayeli.
- Day 7-8Trek to Chistibung and ascend to Kopra Ridge. Magical views of the Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Manaslu mountains.
- Day 9Descend to Swanta and visit local primary school sponsored by Peregrine.
- Day 10Rejoin the main trail. Overnight in Ulleri.
- Day 11-12End trek and return to Pokhara to explore or relax by the lake. Full day to explore Pokhara and surrounds.
- Day 13Return flight to Kathmandu.
- Day 14Trip ends in Kathmandu this morning (Fri).
