Seasonal Escapades
Where to travel right now!
The coming months are absolutely perfect times to visit the following countries. From mountains to deserts to steamy tropical jungle - and with more departures than ever before we are convinced there is a destination and tour here to suit you!
Vietnam
From November to April the weather is warm and dry with cool nights. One of our most popular destinations for those looking for city culture, hill-tribe trekking in the north, tropical island beaches, leisurely cruising on Halong Bay, colonial hill stations and emotive war sites.
Patagonia
With only a limited season anyway you will need to book up in a hurry in order to access this glorious trekking destination before their winter closes in towards the end of April.
India - Rajasthan
Avoid the monsoon and the sweltering heat that June onwards brings. Now is the time to visit Rajasthan with average temperatures of 27°C and pleasantly cool evenings.
Thailand
The dry season is between November and April. This is also slightly cooler than at other times of the year. The climate does vary though depending on which side of the isthmus you are visiting. For this reason our tours do not visit the east coast (Koh Pha Ngan and Koh Samui) at this time, preferring the west coast (for Krabi etc..)
Costa Rica
Well the rainforest is aptly named so it can rain at any time! However it is usually considered that between January and April is the optimum time to visit.
Syria
Similar to Egypt in climate, Syria is also becoming one of our most popular countries with tours consistently selling out months in advance. Book now to discover one of the hottest destinations around – in the cooler months!
Nepal
Peak trekking season is usually late September to November but January/February offer quiet paths and clear skies (as well as ‘fresh’ temperatures!)
Galapagos
There are two seasons in the Galapagos, but the climate is tempered year round on the equator. The ‘warm’ season runs from January - April with air temperatures ranging from 65° F-81° F and water temperatures 76° F-83° F. You also avoid the slightly choppier sea condition that the southeast trade winds cause in the later months as well as the misty "garua" fog.
